We currently have a vacant position available for a Purchasing Assistant.

About The Company
Tumac is a successful international and domestic wholesale trading company in the United States. Our sales team and worldwide agents regularly travel the world to source, buy, sell, and deliver a wide variety of products, including office equipment, stationaries, lumber, plywood, steel etc. 

Recent engagement and subsequent business expansion necessitate the role of a Purchasing Assistant who will help leverage team's workload in order to ensure timely delivery of services.

The sensitivity of this position warrants the office holder to be upright, responsive, accountable, trustworthy, emphatic, persevering and honest.

The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for providing direct support to the procurement team by assisting in daily purchasing activities and pertinent administrative activities in a timely and organized fashion.

Duties and Responsibilities include;
• Make purchasing runs as needed
• Assist with quotation requests, PO and shipping label preparation
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Work independently without much supervision.

Qualifications:

  • The time is flexible.

  • It requires no professional experience but the knowledge of using Microsoft office excel is an added advantage.

  • Customer service-oriented with attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain good communication with team and  vendors.

  • Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.

  • Hours: 10-15 Hours and 2- 3 Days Weekly
